Zarah is a Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris)

Zarah arrived on Sept 18, 2017, from Walk on the Wild Side, an animal rescue facility in Canby, OR. She was born April 17 and arrived at her permanent home – Out of Africa – at only 5½ months of age.

Weighing in at 44 pounds, Zarah is keeping company with two Great Pyrenees dogs. They will be her teachers and companions until her friend arrives. Zarah is now drinking three bottles a day and eating solid food as well. The dogs will assist the keepers in knowing when she is being too rough with them, just as her mother would have done.
