Unlike most zoos in the United States, we are not supported by municipal, state, or federal funds. We are a privately owned facility, not a 501(c)3 charitable organization. It’s important to realize that your contribution is not tax deductible but does provide vital funds that help to support the ongoing efforts of Out of Africa Wildlife Park to develop new habitats and shelters for the animals, support wildlife conservation programs, provide funds for the health care of the animals, and provide education outreach to the community.
